Which pathways are offered?
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)— Does your family have a child that is a natural caregiver? Do you constantly find him or her looking after family members, friends, or pets? Healthcare professional careers focus on improving the health status of patients and ensuring they remain comfortable. Certified Nursing Assistants work directly with patients, providing care, documentation, emotional support and health education information in diverse healthcare environments, ranging from hospitals to nursing homes to homes.
Pharmacy Technician— If your child is an great communicator with a passion for math and science, the Pharmacy Technician pathway is an excellent fit. This pathway encourages students to utilize their healthcare skills and knowledge to support patient care efforts in a various settings such as hospitals, clinics, and community pharmacies. Pharmacy technicians work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide patients with safe and effective medication therapy.
