Technical FAQs
Does my student need to have access to a computer to attend Career Academy of Utah (CAU)?
Yes. However, based on financial need and eligibility, Career Academy of Utah may loan a computer to each enrolled student to support the learning process upon request. These computers are Career Academy of Utah instructional property and must be returned when the student leaves the school. CAU will arrange for technical support and troubleshooting for these systems. Each family will need to secure their own internet service provider.
What computer skills are required?
The Learning Coach needs to have at least basic computer skills. The use of the computer is an essential part of the online school program. In the elementary grades, the Learning Coach primarily interacts with the computer. Middle school and high school students are most successful if they have basic computer skills.
How do I get technical support?
